Davao City 1st District Rep. Paolo Duterte said that in Davao City, they will give 2,000 face masks and 2 thermal guns for each of the 182 barangays.
In the 5 Davao provinces namely Davao Occidental, Davao del Sur, Davao del Norte, Davao de Oro, and Davao Oriental each provinces would receive 150,000 face masks and 90 thermal guns.
For the City of Mati, Rep. Duterte also donated 100,000 face masks and 20 thermal guns.
City of Mati Mayor Michelle Nakpil Rabat meanwhile thanked the presidential son for his generosity. She said the donation would go a long way especially at a time when face masks are very much needed by the health workers that will be manning the Alternate Care Site in Milagrosa Retreat Center for the persons under investigation.
Rep. Duterte said the donation of 2 million face masks and 1,000 thermal guns plus 3 epidemic prevention stations came from his friends in China who does not want to be mentioned publicly.
The epidemic prevention stations are 360 degrees sanitizing cubicles with temperature scanner that will automatically detect persons with fever.
Rep. Duterte said the stations will be posted in public terminals and the airport.
