Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Secretary Rolando Bautista is accepting the apology of controversial broadcaster Erwin Tulfo provided he complies with several conditions set by the retired general.
Among the conditions set by Bautista are:
1. Public apology to be printed on newspapers, aired on several media platforms including the social media
2. Donation of not less than P300,000 to several military institutions and organizations.
In a released statement Friday, June 7, Bautista also thanked several groups and individuals who expressed their support to him when he was unfairly castigated by Erwin Tulfo in his radio program aired over a government station.
For his outburst, Erwin Tulfo was heavily criticized which resulted to the recall of his government- provided security details, among others.
