With more than P840 million at stake in lotto, even President Rodrigo Duterte and Special Assistant to the President Christopher “Bong” Go have also the millions of Filipinos trying their luck on the game.
Go today said he will donate half of the prize from the 6/58 Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) lottery to Malasakit Centers if he wins.
“Kalahati po ay ido-donate ko sa Malasakit Center para makatulong pa lalo sa kanila at may pamasahe na ‘yung mga pasyente,” Go said.
(I will donate half of the prize to Malasakit Center program so it can be a huge help for them. It will also provide the patient’s transportation fees.)
As of October 2, 2018, the prize of 6/58 PCSO lottery is exactly 849,578,320.
In a recent radio interview with Radyo Pilipinas’ Erwin Tulfo, Go revealed that he and President Rodrigo Roa Duterte — just like many Filipinos today — have placed their bets on the 6/58 Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office lottery hoping they can win.
He said he and the President would use the prize to help more Filipinos.
Go said he has been betting on the lottery for a long time.
“Sayang din baka makatsamba tayo at ako po mismo tumataya talaga ako ng lotto,” he said.
(Who knows? We might win. I’ve been betting regularly on the lotto.)
