Habitat for Humanity Philippines unveiled a 50M-peso partnership with real estate firm Euro Towers as part of their 30th-anniversary celebration at the Apo View Hotel in Davao City last September 27, 2018.
The 50-million grant from the property developer will be used for Habitat programs to build homes for the marginalized and poor families in the next five years as part of Euro Towers socialized housing compliance. In addition, these projects may be implemented in the cities where Euro Towers has current developments including Davao City.
Mr. Mike Meaney (Habitat Philippines’ Managing Director), Mr. Joseph Scaria (Habitat for Humanity International’s Director for Resource Development – Asia Pacific), Architect Bong Recio (Habitat Philippines’ Board of Trustees Member), and Ms. Margie Moran-Floirendo (Habitat Philippines’ Board of Trustees Member and Ambassador) joined Engr. Roy Estanislao (Euro Towers’ Director for Construction and Development Group), Ms. Grace De Leon (Euro Towers’ Head of Sales), Ms. Antonette Atienza (Euro Towers’ Marketing Head), and Ms. Evelyn Javier (Euro Towers’ Broker) in the ceremonial house building to express their commitment to the partnership.
Habitat Philippines also recognized Euro Towers, DMI Medical Supply Inc., other donors and key partners for their continuous support and generous efforts that have been extended to its programs in the past 30 years.
Hon. Melissa Avancena Aradanas (Housing and Urban Development Coordinating Council Deputy Secretary-General) and Mr. Jason John Joyce (Jose Abad Santos, Davao Occidental Vice Mayor) were among the guests who attended the event.
