32 Notorious Drug Pushers and High Value Targets Nabbed During Implementation of Search Warrant for Illegal Drugs in Davao Oriental

Joint elements of Mati CPS, DOPPO IDMS, DOPPO 2nd DOPMFC , NISU-72, PDEA XI and 701st Brigade, PA, together with a barangay official of the said barangay, served the Search Warrant number 134-134-2018, issued by Hon Judge NINO A BATINGANA, Executive Judge RTC Branch 6, Mati City, Davao Oriental against RENATO MATUNDO Alias Ricky, Rank No. 4 in the Provincial level (PTL/HVT) at 10:10 in the morning.

Said implementation also resulted in the arrest of the following persons, namely;

2. Rosemarie Matundo
3. Ricky john Matundo alias “iking”
4. Robilito sabayug alias “digoy”
5. Antonio Catian alias “jik-jik”
6. Jimmy Roben lopez
7. Ranilo Maybano
8. Mark john Matundo
9. Bonifacio Matundo
10. Danly Bagay
11. Jason miones
12. Renaldo Babay
13. Alex Delacerna
14. Julito Masisay
15. Garry Garay
16. Mikki Bulos
17. Jay Latiban
18. Jemar Bunawan

Said operation also led to the confiscation of more or less 10 grams of Methamphetamine Hydrochloride suspected to be “shabu” with an estimated DDB value of Php 120,000.00 and MOL 50 grams of suspected dried marijuana leaves with an estimated DDB value of Php 2,250.00, MOL 15 grams of suspected marijuana seeds with an estimated DDB value of Php 675.00. Also recovered were; One (1) unit of .38 caliber (Homemade Pistol) with two (2) pieces Live ammo., One (1) Unit .45 caliber with serial no. 281251 with One (1) Piece .45 caliber magazine, one (1) piece live ammo of .45 caliber and seven (7) units of motorcycle.

Arrested suspects and confiscated items were now in custody of Mati CPS for proper disposition. Cases in violation of the provisions of RA 9165 otherwise known as the Comprehensive Dangerous Drug Act of 2002 and RA 10591 or otherwise known as the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Law are being prepared for appropraite filing of such cases in court.

PCSupt Marcelo C Morales, Regional Director of PRO 11, lauded his men for the success of the operation. “The result of this operation reflects the untiring effort of our field commanders and operating troops to do their assigned task and untiringly serve the community well. We all dream of a drug free region so, together, we will do our best to achieve peace and we will continue this effort until we see more significant results lies ahead,” he firmly stated.

PCSupt Morales also emphasized the collective effort of the local government units and the general public thru their community driven intelligence efforts and collaboration in all PRO 11’s programs especially in crime incident reporting and the like,”he added.
