Grabcar does not charge a booking fee. The allegation of Cong. Jericho Nograles that we charge P100 as booking fee is completely baseless.
This new hit against Grab is part of his long list of unfounded allegations. We cannot discern his motives behind this. As a lawmaker, Congressman Nograles should have a deep responsibility to fully understand facts, and release fair and factual statements.
If Cong. Nograles was thinking of championing the drivers and the riders by trying to destroy Grab, the reverse is true. This has only created confusion to passengers and threat to the livelihood and welfare of our driver-partners. Furthermore, he has only succeeded in reducing the income of drivers when he got the LTFRB to suspend the P2/minute fare component for drivers. This has resulted in fewer drivers going out and therefore fewer vehicles to serve the riding public.
