Much of the villages in Davao City woke up to flooded streets morning of Tuesday, May 29.

Several areas in the city reported flooded streets as of 8 a.m. Tuesday.

The Philippine Atmospheric Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration blamed the flooding to rain brought about by the intertropical convergence zone affecting Mindanao.

Pagasa issued the ITCZ warning 4 a.m. Tuesday.
